Our Why
Since 2022, our mission in The Doghouse has been simple and human; to make a place where people can walk in carrying the weight of their world and finally set it down. A place where movement shakes loose what’s stuck, where purpose gives people something to hold onto, where support doesn’t feel forced, and where pets remind us we’re still capable and deserving of love. Every soul who will step through our doors will bring their own story, their own hurt, their own hope, and witnessing that, holding space for it, is the kind of humbling that will stay with you.
Our goal for this future space is to hold room for rescues animals for therapy and purpose, room to move gym style, a track to walk the dogs, and an area for gathering and to support the mission, Cafe open late for the lost souls wondering.

The Doghouse is here to help our community with its ever-changing needs. The Doghouse is funded by general donations, and the annual golf tournament. All types of programs, scholarships, events, memorials, animal rescues, and other nonprofits are funded through the doghouse.
